What sharp teeth you have!

IT'S SHARK WEEK!!!!

SHARK TEETH
Each type of shark has a different shaped tooth depending on what they eat. The shark above is a great white shark and he obviously eats meat. A shark may grow and use over 20,000 teeth in its lifetime! Whenever he loses one another spins forward from his rows and rows of back up teeth. In the picture below you can see all the sharks teeth waiting to come forward behind just one tooth !

HUMAN TEETH
Humans, like us, do not have the luxury of re-growing our adult teeth when they fall out. That is why it is imperative to maintain regular check-ups and cleanings to prevent dental disease. At your exam appointments Dr. Drew checks the overall health of your teeth and gums.
